There is something about that style of sheath that just rocks... I bet a larger version of a sheath just like that (dangler and all) would work out great for the 12" chete.

A sheath like that for a 12" Machete would be pretty sweet, but cost more then the standard sheath do to more hardware, sewing and leather. Not to mention the extra time. But it still would probably be very reasonable.

That is an awesome design for a machete sheath. I would like to order one for a 12 and an 18 inch fiddleback machete. I also would like to order (2) 18 inch sheaths for a tram and an Imcassa I have. Please let me know details and cost.

Heber made me a sheath for my Tram Bolo. Great work. Looks great and durable! And for a very reasonable price! And it helps that he's a great guy, to boot. Andy and Heber will make a good team.

Wintermute, thanks for the compliments. Always nice to hear good things from people with my sheaths. If you have any user pictures of that sheath, feel free to post them in this thread.

Hell I didn't know that Heber was now in cahoots with Andy;)

You guys won't be disappointed. Two of the greatest guys on this forum whom I am proud to call friends:)

It also should be noted that Heber is born on February 24th. I don't have to tell you guys, but we all know that only the handsomest most awesome fellas are born on February 24th. I mean, that's just common knowledge, right?

Congrats Heber:) Your leatherwork is incredible. Clean, even, and built very durably. As a novice leather mutilator myself, I know a good quality sheath when I see one :):thumbup:

Your sheaths ain't to bad. Wish we could get you to Utah for a week to play with leather and do a campout.
 
Are you still making sheaths? What would a plain style sheath for a Hiking Buddy cost? I may consider with a removable dangler otherwise probably style for belt attachment. Thanks
 
I have several sheaths from Heber and highly recommend his services. He will give you a sturdy sheath for a great price! Nice bump TripleT

Heber does GREAT work. I am not sure how much work he is taking on these days, but if you can get him to make a sheath for u it will be top quality.

Between work and my girl friend being sick and in a hospital out of the area, things aren't moving quickly, but they are moving again. Thanks!
