Introducing......

Can't wait to see the finished product. Really can't wait to play with it. Have the other two shootout knives already. Gonna be a heck of a review this time around.

ETA: Here's a teaser pic for you fellas. The other two "chute" knives I'll be comparing John's knife to.

What`s the theory with the notches on the Aitor? Looks like a good place for stress cracks to start.

They are advertised as "lashing points and lashing hole".

machine does a great job on his shootout reviews, so this will be fun to watch.

Thanks for the answer and compliment, MQ.

I was thinking lashing points then thought to myself "nah, not that far up on the blade" lol.

I like the overall package of the aitor, nice sheath and whatnot. I don't see there being a real "weak" knife in this shootout.

There will be an email going out to the team members either today or tomorrow. I was thinking some of these might not be the type you would care to review, if so, feel free to pass. You may also be too busy to do it at certain times of the year, so again, feel free to pass. The reason I`m mentioning this is that there is another knife to follow soon, pictures will be posted soon. This one is geared more to outdoor use.

Yes. It is at my parent's house at the moment. I am snowed in at the farm, and haven't had a chance to pick it up yet.

Is there a thread for the Model 5?
