introduction and help with strait, single blade folder

Thanks everyone, I think I'll post something in the Wanted section for a Freemont!

If anyone has any more suggestions I still appreciate the help and will check them all out.

keep an eye on the exchange : they go up fast,get sold fast(at least usually) that one auction site lists them as well, but prices are almost always better on the exchange.

Randy That's what I think would be a good choice, the 77 carries a nice long Sheepfoot. The 15 Scout single blade could be another one to option too.

I also think a Stag version of the 99 Wall Street Wharncliffe might interest the OP.

Thanks guys, I do like both the 77, and the 15. I'm looking into a Broadway jack. Does anyone have any impressions of these? As I understand GEC made these on the 15 frame for Northwoods.

You might consider a Northwoods Willamette Whittler. Although it's not a single blade, it is a single spring knife, so it is still very slim. The secondary blade rides deep, so in hand you don't really notice it. It's also available in stag at KSF.

I came really close to buying a willamette actually. It really wouldn't matter, but for some reason the blade rub bugged me.

As it turns out I have an oiled bone Northwoods Broadway Jack on the way from my wanted post. I think it should make a very good edc, we will see.
