my first time selling here on the forums, so allow me to introduce myself:

my name is Simon, i have been sharpening for a long time, using blades for even longer, and have recently ventured into making knives from scratch. i use some pretty basic tools, looking to upgrade in the near future if possible. at the moment, i finish my blades to a utilitarian working class finish. i enjoy long walks on the beach...just kidding! :)

on to the knives:

first up is a saber flat ground blade with a small convexed secondary bevel. the edge on this is pretty thin, so its not recomended that you use it to pry with. it has a large comfy grip.

handle:4.5 inches long, maple, nearly full length hidden tang with hollow stainless pin
blade:1/8" thick, 3.75" long, 3/4" wide
steel:O1
grind: saber flat with small convex bevel
SOLDprice: $55 shipped

this knife is a small to midsize knife (depending on your definition) that would make a great woods knife or handy EDC knife

handle:4.125" long, full tang, maple scales, brass tube pins
blade:1/8" thick, 3.25" long, 1" wide
steel:O1
grind:full convex
SOLDprice: $60 shipped

next up is a larger, scarier looking knife that would be a good woods blade. it is rather wide, making it quite hefty. the cord wrap is hand-filling and comfortable. i included an adjustable yellow lanyard with this one in case you drop the knife etc. also good for light chopping to keep the knife in hand.

handle: ~4.5" long, full tang, double layer paracord wrap
blade:1/8" thick, 4.25" long (measuring cutting edge), 1.75" wide
steel:O1
grind: convex scandi/convex saber grind
price: SOLD $65 shipped

Hey Siguy,

Good looking blades man:thumbup: I was impressed with your sharpening skills when I met you, so it doesn't come as a suprize to see your stuff here. Good luck buddy

Hey does the cord wrap one have holes in the handle where I could put pins and attach real scales?? IF so, or if you could put them in there for me I could send you a MO today for it.

Got it I'll drop it in the mail on the way home from work.

I'm interested to check it out.

What I liked about it is it looks about like a Ranger RD 4.

I have a Ranger RD 4, but the things I don't like about the Ranger is it's way too thick bladed and the edge is way too steep, and it has that huge choil notch that to me is really out of place on a small knife.

What you made there is sort of a Ranger RD4 with all the things I don't like about it removed:thumbup: I've got some orange G10 I can scale it with:D

excellent can't wait to see it.

glad you like the shape etc. i am not too big on choils myself, and so far apart from one knife, all the knives i have owned have been 1/8" thick and under, and they have worked just fine...

siguy,

Awesome blades! I'm even more impressed now, and I was already impressed with your sharpening skills when I met you!

these are good users and i would really like to move them so...

Nice knives. I like the second wood handled knife and the cord wrapped knife. I'm sorry I missed out on those.
