Chariotz4- I agree it was a great gesture, especially for me at the stage I am at, I am about to set up my workstation in my basement, so am trying to consume as much knowledge on things as I can

I'll join the welcome committee in wishing you a pleasant stay here, however long you decide that to be (although I hope it's a long and enjoyable one for you)! You'll find that there are plenty of people here who are not only deeply passionate about blades of all kinds, but are also deeply invested in sharing their passion with others whether they be older members or ones who have just joined with a free account. I've been a member here less than two years and that much is already plainly evident to me.

Chariotz4 - Thanks for the welcome, I will def be sticking around, even if I fail miserably at making my own knives, I will still utilize the site for good quality knives as now that I am recovering from my liver transplant, I will be heading back out into the bush, hunting, camping, and fishing, and will need some good blades

Busto - Wow thanks for showing me the thread, there is a ton of great info in there. I have to go to the pharmacy but am definitely gonna scour through it when i get back home
