Hello knife makers, just thought I'd make an introduction. My name is Shane, I live in Canada and I am just getting in to knife making. Its something I've been interested in doing for quite some time. I purchased a few knife blanks on the bay a while back, and have put handles on them. I learned lots just by doing that. I mostly gifted them to family members.
I joined BF, and have been reading and learning as much as possible. I bought a small propane forge, and some other tools to get started making my own blades. I have some Aldo's 1084 and have started shaping a couple of blades. I'm really looking forward to furthering my knowledge and skill in knife making. If my blades live up to my standards I will get an upgraded membership here, and show some of them off.
