First, some news. I am heading out to Mississippi tomorrow AM. We will be there for a week with my family on the place. Fun times to be had by all. Lots of shooting and hopefully some fishing.
Second, I want to introduce the Padre. Its a small chef's knife made for the kitchen. I designed and made it to give to our Priest this weekend. He is going to baptize Lily for us on Sunday, and we're all excited. She's got a pretty white dress, and is really happy to show off in it. The knife is made from 1/16" thick 440C stainless steel. It is 9 and a quarter inches long and has a 5" blade on it. I made one for myself too, and was very happy during testing. I can't wait to make more of these. They'll definitely be available soon.
The next bit of news is to introduce you to 3rd Degree (3D) Spalting. I'm calling it this because it resembles 3rd degree burn scars. You won't find it anywhere else, and I won't be sharing the technique. It is a bit more work than my regular spalting, and will be a $10 upcharge. I think its worth it. I've never seen anything like it. The texture of it and the depth into the steel are unbelievable.
Before getting to batch pics, lets see this comparison shot. Its got a Bushfinger, Bushcrafter, Terassaur, KE Bushie, and Arete in one pic from directly above.
Now onto batch pics. I'm sorry to say that nothing is currently available, but that 4 of these beauties will be on the Blade Show table. Anybody like Hiking Buddies?
What about KE Bushies?
Bushfingers.
