Inventory Clearance Sales for 12/29 -- Pix, Bhairab Khukuri and Big Savings

When I first saw pics of the Bhairab some time back, I thought it a bit....ornate. But now that I have one, the only thing I can say is WOW. That is one massive chunk o' steel. Quite the zombie slayer. And they're made just beautifully. Can't wait to take some pics of mine and post them. As a bonus, if you've got small hands, you can use it two-handed.

So I got to trying out my 16.5" WWII from this DOTD. I loves it. No water filled plastic bottle can stand in its wake. And it does a pretty little number on wood, too. I don't know why tameshigiri is so darn fun with a khuk, but what a wonderful way to pass the time at work.
 
Bonecutter came in this morning! I'll try to at least get pics this weekend, and maybe test it out on a discarded balsam fir sitting frozen in the back yard. I figure if it can survive this, then I won't have to worry about it suffering from the same issues/edge damage as a couple of folk have. Knock on wood!

The strange thing is, that now I have a Giant Chitlangi Bowie and hefted around over 3 3/4pounds of blade, I now feel some of the great appeal that the substantial Bhairab could hold!:cool:

That is besides it's beautiful lines, of course. :thumbup:
