Welcome Aussiegirl.

I see from your profile you like poetry. Some of these forumites break into poetry every once in awhile, but Nasty isn't one of them.

This is the fifth one in from the left on the line-up photo, with the light colored handle, correct? I would really like to purchase this knife.

Good luck with snagging the knife, aussiegirl. It's a beautiful knife at a very good price. If perchance you do get it, please post and tell us what you think of it when it arrives.

Email sent on the little balance. :foot: Haven't heard yet, though.

This time, my justification was, "I don't have a Khadka- OR a balance, and it has no brass..."

Hard to say no to 3 criteria....:o Stars were in rare alignment.

Ted, nice snag! Hope you got it. Is this your first big knife? I remember that you liked Biltons, etc. I don't recall any Bolos with hill walnut before this, but there may have been one or two I missed.

Skyler, getting an M43 with pure white antler like that is a rare thing. The slabs are usually rough on the top and bottom.

Last year I snagged one just like this with snow white antler. Just gorgeous and the first I had ever seen. Had to send it back for another problem, and when I got a replacement back it had the rough antler (although with some beautiful figure on the side panels.) Still a great knife, but this is something. It is also a bit heavier than the regular M43 weight of 26-28 oz.

Beautiful. I remember when you couldn't get an M43. And that Crow knife is a bargain.
Steve

It sure is, and I can attest to that! I have a special skill: I am able to ferret out every knife when it first comes out at the absolute top price, and from that point forward they sell for less.;)

This is certainly an exceptional deal, and Vim seems to have any initial bugs on this model well worked out.
