  • Today marks the 24th anniversary of 9/11. I pray that this nation does not forget the loss of lives from this horrible event. Yesterday conservative commentator Charlie Kirk was murdered, and I worry about what is to come. Please love one another and your family in these trying times - Spark

I am new to this form so maybe this has been hashed over before but I am computer dumb:confused: and could not find anything. What system do you use to tag your knives in order to keep good records on what you have?

I do almost exactly as Goose does, just put 'em on a shelf with the box end exposed, with the exception I dont save the receipt... or the price I paid...
There's just some things I don't want to remember :D

Well....Ah....I have an excel spread sheet with all of my bucks listed (copy of what Larry Oden's sale list looks like).....I also have a separate spread sheet listing all of the limited edition/special project 500's so I can see how many more I need...LOL...ANAL....you bet. I have a piece of paper inside each box describing the knife that goes to that box...so If I take one out of the display case it will go back to it's correct box.

there is a program that works well and is available for knives or coins or other similar collections called keeper pro
it will track all info you might want and even hooks up with ebay to easily save all the info from a sellers listing for an item including pics
for myself now i am using parsons address book it lets me keep track of everything except the pics i have to keep seperate
