Ionic Breeze Air Purifier

Need any input... Has anybody used the Sharper Image air purifier? The one with no moving parts.
After watching their infomercial on this gadget, I get the feeling that this is to good to be true, am I wrong.

They work very well, I am a non smoker in a smoking office. They are silent ( except when cleaning is warranted ). I have used them throughout the different models for several years and I still could not tell how the air moves with no fans.

Bottom line = it freakin works.

We've got one to keep the cockatto's dander off "everything" in the house, and I do mean everything; if you own a big bird you know what i am talking about.

the wife raves about it. works so well she has to clean it every other day to keep it from building up. only problem is she wants another one for the upstairs as well. they aint cheap $380, but they work. only had ours about 2 months so i cant speak for long term durability. but they seem well built and no problems so far.

i am talking about the full size model. the little ones they give you as a special offer gifts are suspect. ok for a "small" bathroom maybe.
