The FM things either work great or are terrible. FWIW, Griffin is coming out with a product called the Sound Deck, I think, that is a good compromise between cheap and expensive features. The Neo Ion and Icelink units, which sell for $200, allow you to hook your iPOd into the stereo, hardwired for good sound, and also charge it AND allow you to use the radio/steering wheel controls (if you have them) to go forward, backward, etc. Griffin has a casette transmitter that will sell for $30 (although I've seen it available for pre-order for $16) that will also allow you to go forward and back on the radio controls (easier than the clickwheel in traffic). Should be out sometime during their 3rd quarter, which ends in August.
