Nope... He and I didn't complete a deal.
I sold him a rather expensive blade ($500+) then realized, as I was packing, that there was a flaw I hadn't noticed previously.
I called his attention to it and we agreed to terminate the sale. Here's the rub- he sent the funds via paypal, so I already had fees taken out. The fault was entirely mine, not his, so I sent him a paypal for the actual total plus an extra amount to cover the fees lost on his end when he received it.
I was out $40-50 - again, my problem, not his.
A day or so later someone called me out (in a good way) and let me know I could have simply hit "refund" on the original transaction and it would have been square without having to give Paypal cash in fees.
Irezumi agreed to let me refund the original payment then refund the 2nd payment I had made to him.
He didn't have to... He went to the trouble because he is a stand-up guy.
