John has managed to work out a Passaround for the Iris knife for me,

Mine

The one for the passaroudn

It will be ready by early august, I'll put the scales on it and it'll be a 1/8" version, I don' know what scale material I'll use yet but I'm open to suggestions, FYI I modded the scales on the one pictures, so it should look like that kinda :)

I think you should add a disclaimer to this effect, "Handling The Iris Knife Will Be Hazardous To Your Bank Account" it`s that addicting!

I would love to participate! I've been looking to get me a nice fixed blade and have been eyeing JK knives for a while now.

Peter,

Since I have an Iris blank coming my way soon, please remove my name from the list so that others can enjoy it sooner.

Thanks,
Glenn

If I'd be considered as a candidate, I would love to participate in this PassAround.

I've been getting a new camera (prosumer level) setup for knife pics and I'd love to not only take pics of the knife, but review it as well!!

okey dokey, I'll add you to the list

hey all, some in progress pictures for ya, uncovered some ugly spots while working to get the grain to pop, have to go back and re-sand it down again :( but it does look pretty (in a hairy chest, kick the crap out of you kind of way) I think

kinda reminds me of a smaller jk pheonix, but maybe that's just me

Okay folks, it's ready

Haven't decided to put a lanyard on it, it feels very nice in the hand as it is but I I'll send the leather thong with it in case anyone wants to try it both ways

Again, i'm no sheath maker but this should work

I worked to bring out the grain in this osage, I like the fingerprint pattern that came out down here

I'm pretty happy with the way this one came out, I thought I was being too tame choosing Osage and brass but I'm pretty happy with the way the way it finished up, hope some of you do to. It feels like a no nonsense knife, tough and tank like to me and I think the scales fit that.

You can find more pictures of it (and some other JKS that have no relevance but live in the same folder in Photobucket) HERE

So all I need now is an address to send it to, I'm happy with the order everyone signed up in so unless there's an objection, Techno I need your address and particulars please :)

Anyone else want to sign up? times running out!
