Iris passaround?

Profiled out my Iris today. It will be a couple of weeks until it`s done, but figured while handles were gluing on the orders for this week I`d get started.
 
I also keep thinking about a "bare bones" Iris, one with no handles to use for a neck knife. Thoughts? Comments?

LOVE the idea! Kinda like the LRK+ awhile back. I would pop on one of those right away.
 
I could do them with a choice of several larger holes (to leave bare metal for lighter weight) or with standard pin holes for if someone wants to do their own handles.
 
Of course, I would want to do my own handles, but I like both options.
 
I went a bit crazy on my Iris blank. I had some leftover 5/32" steel, so I went with that, and no top swedge. After the show I`m hoping to order ivory micarta with red liners for the handle.
 
that really will be something to see!
