Well, after a long break due to school, I'm back at it with making knives. First up was to finish this one that's been in progress for far too long. I present the Iron Ribbon Fighter. Blade is 0.170" thick and 11" long with 10.5" of actual cutting edge, and is forged from 1080 and 15n20 steel in what I call my Random Ribbon pattern, which has it's distinct broad "iron" (1080) ribbons running through an otherwise random pattern blade. The handle has a 304 stainless steel s guard and pommel plate, which is threaded and peened. The ferrule is made from sterling silver and is on a fine cut of Sambar stag, perfect for right or left hand. Beautifully balanced in the hand for its length and comes to a keen edge profile. A wonderful piece all around.
Asking $SOLD USD + $12 USD shipping anywhere in the USA. My PayPal email is:

Beautiful knife at that price I can’t believe it’s still available.

Sorry meant to ask about the end cap. Is the tang exposed, peened or how attached? I am interested in this piece.

Did you engrave that work on the ferrule?
No, I wish I had the skill required to do that, but sadly I don't. It's a idea I picked up from a friend, Dan Graves. He uses antique sterling silver ferrules like these from time to time.

The tang is treaded, then the plate is tapped. The bottom plate is threaded onto the tang with epoxy, and then the remainder of the tang is peened in on its self. Then the pommel is ground flush and polished to make a seamless finish. In total, it has three forces holding it on, its not coming off any time soon.
