Well, after a long break due to school, I'm back at it with making knives. First up was to finish this one that's been in progress for far too long. I present the Iron Ribbon Fighter. Blade is 0.170" thick and 11" long with 10.5" of actual cutting edge, and is forged from 1080 and 15n20 steel in what I call my Random Ribbon pattern, which has it's distinct broad "iron" (1080) ribbons running through an otherwise random pattern blade. The handle has a 304 stainless steel s guard and pommel plate, which is threaded and peened. The ferrule is made from sterling silver and is on a fine cut of Sambar stag, perfect for right or left hand. Beautifully balanced in the hand for its length and comes to a keen edge profile. A wonderful piece all around.
Asking $375 USD + $12 USD shipping anywhere in the USA. My PayPal email is:

Thanks for looking. Comments are always welcomed.

heck of a good price for such a beautiful piece , would look great on any bodies mantel .
Thanks, but she’s a user not a show piece. Performance is the first priority, but there’s nothing wrong with looking pretty while doing it.

Did you ever make knives under Dan Graves?
Great Bowie, and I really enjoy the style!

Dan and I are good friends, he and I share ideas and experiment with knife making often. You’d be correct to assume that this knife has some of his common design elements in it (primarily the ferrule).
