Last time I posted a deal like this, I had a few requests for a blank and some ironwood scales that were already cut. I didn't think I had anymore blades, but I found some more of the blanks in a box in the shop. I won't ever find time to finish these myself, so I paired them up with some really nice ironwood. (yes this is the glow stuff) ;) So if anyone is still interested, here they are.

These finished blades are ground, heat treated and sharpened ready for handles. These are made out of AUS -8 Stainless, and are about an 1/8th thick and 7" long.

You can see the ironwood has been cut down the middle and bookmatched. All you need to do is attach and finish the handle. Desert ironwood does not require stabilizing.

So heres the details......I am offering a blade and a set ironwood scales of your choice for $45 and $6 (for the mailman), Total = $51. Paypal only in CONUS.

May I ask how you [or whomever] cut that iron wood? My piece ate two blades in my horizontal metal cutting bandsaw :)

Dave your best bet is a WOOD cutting bandsaw. It's not as likely to hang up on you, and will give you a decent cut. Next best is a table saw w/ thin kerf, but thats just my opinion. :D

I will PM the details. This is really nice ironwood with golden glow figure, unlike the faded white sap wood stuff. You picked a nice set too. :thumbup:

Cool cool, I absolutely LOVE the look of Ironwood...this will be my first time using it, I hope it turns out well. What do you recommend as far as finishing...just a final buff?
