At this point, I'm just nit-picking, but the green micarta doesn't do much for me in combination with the ironwood. I prefer all wood or all micarta, not both.

That aside...

This knife is stunning!

Is there jimping or filework on the spine? It's difficult to tell on my monitor.

Really, I'm impressed. I love the subtle overall curve of the spine. Great Work.
 
I actually like the combination of different materials for the handle---seems to nicely mirror the combination of different materials in the damascus. I'm not in a position to currently, but somebody needs to jump on this quick. These pictures are good, but Mike's work is extraordinary in person. :thumbup:
 
Beautiful knife Sir Mike! Gents, I just received a Model 51 from Mike last week and, believe me, the craftsmanship put into his knives is remarkable.

If I didn't have your "Trailing Point Utility" on the way in the near future this knife would be mine. Alas, someone else will score on this one.:thumbup
