I've never commented in one of these threads before, but that is a beautiful knife.
 
I no nothing about metal. Is Damascus usable or just for show ?

Edit: Mike, before that knife is shipped off to some lucky individual, could you post a pic of the spine (full lenght)? I'd like a better idea of the shape of the slabs. (sorry, I just can't stop staring :p )

Sorry I wasn't clear SpearZ. I'm not in line for this particular offering but will be asking Mike if something is possible along the same lines. Just a couple changes to that design to end my search for the perfect knife (as if such a thing existed - theres always another "perfect" one out there).

Right now, time I got.
