Hello Everyone, I have just finished this cool little bnt. My greatest weakness for handle material is probably ironwood.
I am offering this one at a discount because the blade is about .035 out of straight. Not very noticeable but need to disclose even without the rules.
Blade is CPM154 .094 thick and 2.45 tip to bolsters. O/A is right at 6. in. Heat treated with cryo and double tempered to 60-61 RC. Polished and satin finished to 2000 grit. Tapered tang. Blade is hollow ground w/ 10 in. wheel. I also hollow grind the tang to give the glue a place to stay.
Bolsters are 416.
Handle is Ironwood Burl with stainless pins, thin red liners, and lanyard hole.
Sheath is 8-9 ounce leather. I use the Loveless cam idea. The knife is held perfectly snug and safe yet is easy to withdraw.
Asking $169.00 shipped conus. I accept paypal. Thank you all for looking. Alan
