This knife went out to Michael in California a while back. Unfortunately, I wasn't able to snap pictures of the finished product, but these are very close to the finished result. I hadn't etched my mark yet, and the blade is a bit dirty; you'll notice some smudges. Sorry about that.

The blade is a full flat grind EDC of CPM154 with a 600 grit hand rubbed finish. Handle scales are exhibition grade Ironwood burl with black spacers and are hand worked to 2000 grit. The scales look even better in person.

This knife got a leather sheath with spring clip that turned out to be the best one I've made (thanks to the great Wild Rose sheath video I got for Christmas :D ). Michael seems to be pleased with it, so I'm a happy maker.

Even though these pictures don't do the completed knife justice, I really just wanted to show off that great ironwood and these were the only pictures I had. Thanks for looking!

Yes sir. Every day carry. For me it means a knife that can be easily and comfortably carried everyday and used for just about anything.

Thanks for the comments, everyone!

That's a fine looking knife! Good steel & beautiful wood... Looks like it would be a pleasure to use, very comfortable in the hand.

Thanks for the info! I'm looking around for a glossary of knife terminology...:D

I like that one! Looks just right and size wise is perfect for EDC. The ironwood puts it over the top.

man, that is nice work, the attention to detail is excellent and the ironwood scales rock, one of my favorite scales, you do really nice work!!

Thanks everyone. I still wish I had pictures of the completely finished knife and sheath. Thanks for your thoghts and for taking the time to look and comment.

Actually, this is the first knife I've sold off the KMG. I've got some more ground out so far for a customer's three sons, one for the military knife build off, and a small EDC for me to use. This knife took a bit of learning to adjust to the new grinder. But then I tilted the platen back a few degrees to more closely match the grizzly, and all was well.

Very sweet, Nathan! I love the handle material and fit/finish looks great.

No pics of the sheath?
