Just finished this order, into the mail today. I messed up the orginal handles and looked around and found this Ironwood in the bottom of a drawer, looks like a nice find.
The BladeForums.com 2024 Traditional Knife is available! Price is $250 ea (shipped within CONUS).
Order here: https://www.bladeforums.com/help/2024-traditional/
It is 1/8 A2 heat treat by Paul Bos, liners are stainless and bolster and pins are nickel silver.
The nic is placed to give good leverage for opening, I make my spring pretty tough so it helps. The mark is placed so it shows with the blade closed. I have made about 25 of these so far. where would you place the nic and mark.
I appreciate the input, I have thought about putting the mark on the tang but have not got the template yet. I think I need a new logo for the tang and was considering my initials. You are right a swedge would be nice but with the nic placement that is not possible right now. I will persue the tang mark more and then I could move the nic and maybe add a swedge.
