  • Today marks the 24th anniversary of 9/11. I pray that this nation does not forget the loss of lives from this horrible event. Yesterday conservative commentator Charlie Kirk was murdered, and I worry about what is to come. Please love one another and your family in these trying times - Spark

Ironwood Obsession

You guys are killin me with the beautiful Ironwood pics. I've tried taking some in my "light box/octagon" but it just isn't the same as with natural light. Its been raining/cloudy for probably the past two weeks and when it is sunny, there's 4" of standing water or mud to deal with. And its supposed to continue for about another week. Guess my tiny contribution will be delayed a bit longer.

Beautiful Ironwoods everyone!!

Ill have to sort thru a few but here are two of my grail knives in epic ironwood burl.
I waited in line at blade show 2014, 5 hours early so I could be first to the table and snag this beauty.
Andy thank you for making such awesome knives that brings a smile to our hearts and souls

Worth every minute of the wait Rob......those two are stunning :thumbup:

Peter,
Love you collection of burls! The sneaky Pete is a standout for sure but that Duke👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
Great thread Tony!
You sir are the Ironwood kingpin

Rob,

Wow! Worth the wait for sure.

Andy, I've been thinking on it. I think my favorite remains that Ironwood Ladyfinger with the 3 mosaics. Probably the most beautiful knife I own, and the story behind it just makes it even better.

Figured I would throw up a few pics of my personal ironwood knife collection.

pretty cool group IMO. My first Fiddleback, the kephart, the Loveless pattern wilderness I entered into BLADE new maker contest, the FIRST Monarch, and others that have meaning to me.

I seem to be holding down the Blonde end of the spectrum.
