  • America has reached 250 years, and I am grateful to be here, in the best country in the world. Thank every one of you who helps make this country a better place, those who have gone before and risked it all, and those who've paid the ultimate price to make the United States what we are today.

Happy Birthday America! Let Freedom Ring for all time!

Is 1000 grit enough?

I made some sharpening blocks up today. 260 grit, 600 grit, and a 1000 grit. And i made a double side leather strop as well. I just need to order the green and black paste.

I cant seem to get that hair popping edge with my current setup. They are very sharp but not wicked sharp. Should i step up to some 2000 grit to finish off before hitting the leather? Or just wait till i can get some paste?

Sort of a newb so any advice is welcome. Thank you.

I just read the posts about the paper wheels. I am going to do that since it seems more like my cup of tea, so please disregard my previous post.
