Is a Dozier More Knife Than I Need?

Famous Business Quotes #4. Needs/Wants Quote

“If only searching for 'needs' motivated us humans, then our world would
not have advanced beyond a primitive state of hunting and gathering.
Progress comes from our 'want' for more and better things.”

If you can afford it, by all means get the Dozier. If not, Swamp Rat is the way to go, although I would put the Howling Rat above the Safari Skinner for what your uses seem to be. A very handy all around blade and my favorite Rat. My wife's also for kitchen duty.

Whatever you do, buy the best you can afford.

All of us on this forum have more knives (plural) than we need. And each of those knives is probably more knife than we really need. You can get by with almost any cheap knife. You'll be missing a certain satisfaction, though. Everyone should own at least one good knife. Make that two or three good knives. Or better yet...

Bobs knives are great I carry an Aransas Toothpick as an EDC form, fit, funtion and cost are all excellent.

If it's within your budget I'd buy one, if no go with Esav's suggestion.
