Is a Fatty Game Warden even useable?

Don't let the .140 thickness on the thinnest GW fool you. Any .140 GW is a tank! You can't flex the blade and your certainly not going to snap it. That's thicker than most of custom blades being sold as woods knives.
For me, .140 to .170 max. Unless you pry open car doors all day or just want a fatty for the display case, go for it! But to actually carry and use, go thinner.

If you want the most efficient cutting GW then go with the .140. They are plenty strong at that thickness for a knife that size. .

If you want to brag about how yours is bigger and are ok with giving up cutting efficiency then go with the .270 fatty.

Most all of my GWs are .140 with the exception of one fatty. I have that one just for kicks and to get a reaction from folks.

Well, I just bought a .125" Satin BAD GW, so I guess that solves that.
I have never owned a Busse before, and I have a SAR5 and BAD GW in the mail to me as we speak.

What's next?

IIRC, someone did snap the tip off of a 0.14" GW. Busse covered it, of course.

What's next is that exposure to INFI dust will give you a horrible case of Wauseon Wasting disease! :D

What's next? Read up on the "modding threads" for the SAR5...some interesting mods done to that knife...good skills to acquire as well IMO...
