Is a high end watch worth it?

That said I own one broken Timex that I think is somewhere in my work bag.

I really don't like to wear any jewlery and see little need to strap a clock to my body.
 
But what if the girl at Burger King is REALLY hot? :D

I admire the looks of Omegas, but I'll be damned if I'm going to spend that much money on a watch that doesn't function as well as a $45 G-shock from WalMart. If your primary purpose for wanting a knife is to impress the 0.005% of the population that will notice and be impressed by your $4000 watch, then by all means get one. If you want to know what time it is without hunting for a clock, go to Wally-World.
