Is a Native III good for throwing? ....cuz I'm gonna!!!!

If my Native III was as easy to open and close as my Calypso's and Calypso Jr.'s, it would be my EDC. As it is, It's a safe queen.

I have to chime in here, I found the Native III (3D) by accident. I was looking for a nice folder in VG 10 (about 3"), and settled on the Delica. Of course I had to try an Endura. Then I saw the Native, liked the style, and ordered one. I have to say, I am VERY impressed with this little guy. Talk about stout...

Now, mind you, even with the hole, I generally use 2 hands to open a knife, no other reason other than clumsiness. I love the solid snap that I get. Maybe it's stiff for one-handed opening, but for 2 handed, I think it's perfect, I would rather err on the side of security.

Now I can't decide which of the 3 knives I like more...

I guess what I'm saying Lavan, if you are looking for a one-handed opener, perhaps one of the other models would be better for your purposes. My Delica can open pretty easily with one hand.

BTW, a couple of observations,First; if the edges of the spyderhole were chamfered so they aren't so sharp, that would be a really good thing. Second, I would still love a Native Chief.
