Although I have multiple quality folders that are not one-hand openers, I think I'm getting addicted to the ease of use and practicality of my one-handers - Blur and Grips.

Am I a bad person, as I so love traditional gear, or am I just dazed and confused, as usual? :)

I used to put One Armed Bandits on my folders all the time, before one-hand "tactical" folders became common. I don't see how that's any less traditional.

If it works, go for it! There is nothing wrong with violating tradition to make something work a little better for you.

Absolutely not! 90% of the time I need to cut something, I'm hanging on to it with my other hand. Who wants to put it down to open your knife? I carry a one-handed folder for just this reason, it's even more convenient than unsheathing a fixed blade.

I think it's just fine. I just ziptie modded my pacific salt last night, and I think I'm in love.

Well, let me tell you a little story there sonny. That's what we had to use all those years ago on our Buck 110s if we wanted to open them one-handed. Boy, life sure was tough back then, way back in the 70s.
