is all White Lightening created equal?

So I looked all over town for White Lightening knife lube with no luck. Today I picked up the bike chain White Lightening, and I'm wondering whether I could use that on my folder. Does anyone know if there are different formulas, or is it all basically the same stuff?

I was told that the bike WL was a thicker grade. I have both now and can't tell the difference. I dislike both of them equally.

I think 3 in 1 or Tuff-Glide is much better.
