I just wanted to know if they are safe and dont sell fakes I want to get a spyderco manix 2 and i know spydercos are often faked so I just wanted to be sure thanks.

If you buy from Amazon itself, it's 100% safe. From the vendors, you're usually safe.

But really, the low end Spydercos are not faked. It's just not worth it for the counterfeiters. Anything cheaper than a PM2 and you're in the clear.

That's not completely true. They fake all sorts of Spyderco's cheaper than the PM2.

Amazon is as safe as any of the knife vendors out there, as long as you're dealing with Amazon and not a third party vendor. There are a few trustworthy vendors on Amazon as well though.

Fact!

The Spyderco Spin, is a perfect example. As long as a scammer can make a quick buck, there is no telling what they are capable of counterfeiting.

As for Amazon, I've never used them for purchasing a knife, however it's an awesome place to find great deals on carpentry tools & high end saw blades.

I had never seen one before, but a quick aliexpress search shows you're right. Still, I wouldn't worry about it unless a deal seems too good to be true, especially on Amazon.

Just ordered Spyderco Southard from Amazon. I've ordered multiple knives from them n never had an issue. Even returned knives n got money back without issue.

Amazon has some of the best deals and if you aren't satisfied, returns are not a problem. I buy from them all the time.

I've odered a para 2, cold steel recon 1, Kershaw Skyline, a benchmade griptilian, and a couple case knives and I've always gotten great prices, and had them delivered in a very timely manner. But I have however only ordered direct from amazon so I cannot speak for the individual sellers.

I ordered a cheap knife from them once and got the wrong one-seems the knife I ordered was out of stock, and the one I got had been mislabeled (simple human error). Since I couldn't get the one I wanted I inquired about a return. They gave me my money back and told me to keep the knife I got! Pretty awesome CS, I say!

I would suggest that you buy from one of the many dealers that support and contribute to this forum. Check out the dealer exchange area and you will see that many offer sales and specials that are more than competitive with Amazon. I just like buying knives from knife people, particularly people that share the same position I have on the 2nd Amendement.

I've purchased quite a few knives with no issues through Amazon including several of its marketplace vendors: Red's Gear, Best Service Stores, Cutlery and More, White Mountain Knives, KnifeCountryUSA, Snake Eye Inc., Life Tools, Blade Shop, AE Services, jndonlinesales, Stealth Rabbit, etc.

Remember, in case of issues Amazon will rectify it if you're not making headway with the vendor.

No issues with buying from Amazon. Prices at times can be significantly better than other online vendors, other times they are not. Have never tried a non-amazon vendor.

Only buy from reputable sellers or buy items that are Prime eligible. That gives you an incredibly low chance of getting a fake, and if you somehow do you have recourse.
