  • Today marks the 24th anniversary of 9/11. I pray that this nation does not forget the loss of lives from this horrible event. Yesterday conservative commentator Charlie Kirk was murdered, and I worry about what is to come. Please love one another and your family in these trying times - Spark

Is anyone still using S90V ( CPM 420V ) ?

Yeah, I'll get around to promoting the knives more on the site as time passes.

I am guessing that the term 'tool steels' in Paul's quote are ment as carbon steels. I always snap temper these type steels before cryo, deep or shallow. What has me more interested than any other thing about when best to cryo is Jason's quatation concerning grain size. It makes me want to snap temper a test piece of S90V to see how the HRc compares to that which I got before.

Trying to get yield strength data and a piece of CRUCIBLE CPM S90V®(CPM 420V®) for a project. Emailed many times and Crucible doesn't respond.

Any ideas?
