My AFCK in ATS 34 is the hardest knife to sharpen that I have, and can be real finnicky to get a shaving sharp edge. It seems to get so far and then dulls. It also took an age to re-profile the blade from factory edge on my Sharpmaker.
I can get a shaving edge on my ATS55 Spydie Endura a lot easier and quicker. Whether this is due to the difference in the steels or the heat treat, I don't know. Has anyone else noticed this?
