Is Becker and Ka-Bar the same company?

I see them interchanged all the time especially the knives.

IIRC the Becker line is a division of Ka-Bar.

Becker is the designer, Ka-bar is the manufacturer.

There are Camillus manufactured Becker knives as well

There is also Johnson, dozier, Benner and more designers for ka-bar knives.

Cutco knives is also affiliated with Ka-Bar.

KaBar sell the BK&T knives. Designed by Ethan Becker, manufactured by KaBar. It is a good relationship for them both.

KaBar also sells knives designed by others as well: Bob Dozier, (Steve) Johnson Adventure Blades, Paul Tsujimoto as well.

There has been/is a lot of interaction between American Mfgs, depending on contracts, how busy they are & who has what/certain machines.

KA-BAR begets Becker Knife and Tool, JAB, Dozier Designs, Zombie Knives, Tsujimoto Designs, and Snody Designs.

There have been 4 companies that made BKT designs, Cincinatti Machine, Blackjack, Camillus and now KA-BAR.
