Is BF a good place to sell used knives?

Yep, read the rules, search for threads about how to sell, there have been a few advice threads in the recent past. Read the stickies, get the membership and you are off. It might be a slow start as people get to know you, but as long as you conduct yourself well, it should go fine.

Hi,

New here, is this a good place to sell my lightly used knives?

Thanks
Yes. Upgrade to a gold membership and head on over to the exchange. Be sure to read the rules closely and maybe watch for a while before you jump right in. While in the exchange take a look at the section called "the good, the bad, & the ugly". Lots of examples there. Read some of the stickies at the top of each section as well. And remember, if you use paypal, goods and services payment only.

I'll also add to participate in the discussion parts of the forum as well. It will help you get a feel for the community and vise versa.

The Exchange is an excellent place to sell your lightly-used knives. I have purchased and sold MANY of them right here...
Just get your GOLD membership and join us...

Yes it's an excellent place, as already said a good description, clear pictures and reasonably priced, and they will sell quickly. Welcome to the club of addicts!

I have tried buying and selling on other venues, and overall nothing can beat this forum when it comes to selling buying/trading.

Yes provided you follow the rules and conduct yourself honestly / fairly.

The alternative is that you'll quickly find yourself unable to do anything here.

Just follow the rules and you'll be ok. Good idea to read the Good, Bad, Ugly section so you don't end up as laughing stock of the forum!

Buying or Selling Search the persons name in GB&U.

IMHO- Price it to sell. That sweet spot where if the buyer looks too long it's gone.

Personal satisfaction is Selling something on Sunday and it being Delivered on Wednesday.

Better than that, is selling on a Saturday and it being delivered on Monday!
