I'm stuck at old school.
Buck could sell some premium stuff at premium prices. There's a niche there.
I think Buck should bring back a "Classic" series of old 100 Series fixed blades with many different exotic steel and handle options. Quality and fancy leather, too.
I don't think they could do that with the 110/112 because the market is already saturated with exotically re-slabbed AFTER market 110s and 112s......but some more varied steel options would spark interest.
The current valiant attempt to "outjunk" the Chinese with a zillion odd-looking plasticky tactical knives is doomed IMHO. You simply can't outjunk the Chinese but you might cut back, downsize and offer premium stuff at high prices and win.
Then again, maybe old school is dead as far as manufacturing is concerned.
So we turn to e-Bay.
