I heard busse combat knives was returning in 1 year, I'm wondering why are people spending 1-200$ more on their knives from other ppl even if used instead of just waiting for them to return? I'm sure they'll return with more designs if they do

Are they? Perhaps some of the older/scarce models, but it seems like many of the knives coming across the exchange these days are at or below the list price. That may be mostly O2W models, but there are a lot of those around. If anything it seems like the market is flooded.

Returning?
They never left friend.
Really? That's what I heard, I heard they had to take a break because they were so popular, is there a place I can buy their knives because for some reason I can't buy off of their site, Also one of the knives I'm talking about is the "Game Warden" knife it's up to 500$

They've alwys been around. Their marketing channels are not direct. You have to kinda get in the culture and watch this forum all the time. New models are only a valuable to order for a few days when available. Or catch a trade show

Supply and Demand sucks sometimes.

Kind of like how a brand new 1928 Thompson submachine gun cost $180 new, but now that they're out of production they're $80,000

Lol I can agree with you on that, I just don't understand sometimes how companies make an extremely successful product and end the production of the product out of nowhere.

Kinda, but not really. Imagine Congress decide to ban all new production of fixed blade knives. That's why an Original 1928 FA Thompson is $40,000+. Thanks 1934 NFA, and 1986 Hughes amendment.

Busse have never "Left". So no need to come back. They were just busy making orders and knives for shows.

Busse have, from my time in the game, been limited production. Meaning they take orders, close the order period, then fill orders. Orders take a while to fill (year? Some times much less). I've also bought from shows.

When I first found Busse, I was super confused by their website not selling a knife, and it took a year or more to figure it out. I bought my first handful on the exchange.

The system is weird, but they seem to sell all they can make. After market prices can suck. This occurs in many markets with limited production. It is not limited to Busse.

I'm no big collector. I've owned as many as 13. I'm down to 4 again.

I'm constantly amazed Busse and Crew are able to come up with designs that keep me wanting more !!!

Oh i knew that & it's understandable but I was just referring to blades in general when companies decide to stop selling them despite their popularity..

I think someone is bored and just joined yesterday to pull some chains :D ~ Is this one of those hog trough tricks or diversions I've read about? Is there ordering taking place while 1776 keeps everyone distracted while he gobbles up the bacon fat? ;)

The Busse group used to attend the.Knob creek gun show, where they had a longstanding table they sold.from.
They stopped.going about two years ago due to time constraints from operation two weeks. Many of us are hoping they will return, myself included
You don't like them?

Yep, they're still here allright... Right now you can buy a Busse 'Kin Scrapyard Knives 1111 or 311 from their website.
The offer will be for a limited time then something else will pop up.
