Is C-TEK a good material for scales?

Just had a Benchmade 581 done by Steve Ketchen......love it!!! The texture feels great in hand also!
Go for it!! Check Steve's work out in the Exchange bro!

If you like it, go for it. C-Tec is sold as a scale material.
What color are you going with?

I know a quick Google search would tell me, but I figure this thread should work. I've been seeing C-Tek more and more, but I don't really know anything about it. What exactly is it?

They are fine for scales but the are fragile. It may break if you drop it in something hard
