Anyone heard from him lately? I know he was the custom shop director at one time and is still listed as a moderator for this forum. Doing a search shows he hasn't been on BFC since 11/2002. No wonder thatporkguy is so stressed out moderating all alone :)

He used to be a diver, and clue if he is ok?

His last post was mid November of last year, five months ago. The post was asking us what we wanted see out of the custom shop. Is he still the head of the custom shop?

I said that I wanted to see a Busse push-dagger, and I still do.

Hmmm, every time I do a search the most recent return is 11/2002.


Don't know about the shop, maybe Garth is running the whole show now.
 
I know Contender was the head of the Busse Custom Shop from readings on badmojo. Other than that I am totally oblivious about who we are talking about. I can only assume that if Contender is indeed dead, then you older hogs would have known. Therefore, in my uneducated oppinion, I would say that he is probably "away".

EDIT: If he has not been here for so long, why is he still an actively listed as a moderator?
 
On second thought. If any of you know where he lives, then you can call the local library and see if he has an active address/ phone number. I am not sure how the system works down their in the United States, but I do know that if you call Contender's local library (and you give the reason for your inquirey) they can give quite a bit of info on that person.

You can also call any other building where public records are kept. You could call the Bank (see if he has an active account), call a library (has he borrowed a book) etc.

Be very careful though, some of these activities might get the Feds after you for identity theift! :D

Nope, I called the library. Marc last checked out a book called "Fatherhood, everything you need to know"

A very short book, to wit ... Fatherhood=great joy. Also=no money, no time, no life of any sorts, no sleep, till kid reaches about 18 or so, or at least till they outgrow diapers and eat regular food. YMMV

I think Marc will check back in when he catches up on his sleep around 2010 or so. LOL

I got a new idea. If he is the director of the Busse Custom Shop, then Jerry should have some contact information for him. It makes sence, they are business partners so they should have some way of staying in touch. Also, who is involved in the Busse Custom Shop? If you call the place you will most likely be able to talk to someone that is in the know.

I still maintain that if he was dead all of you HOGs would know.
 
IIRC he did post in the one of the "welcome Garth" threads. He mentioned that the custom shop might just finally have some knives to make.

Peter, don't take this in a bad way, but English is clearly not your first language. Where are you from originally, before Canada? Or is French your first language?

In fact, English is the only language I speak! I have never spoken any other language and do not know a word of French. (other than greetings) If you did not mean any offence, please explain to me what you are referring to. I do not mean to be aggressive, I just do not understand what you are trying to say.

I don't know, it just seems like you either don't understand or you are playing dumb. I thought I would give you the benefit of the doubt and assume that you don't understand the thread. Maybe you are just young? Once again, no offense!
