I suppose they will. So far, there are some great deals out there in some of the websites that I trust. After those are sold, it'll be the MAP prices. Some places already are doing the MAP on some items.

I hope the use of map in the future will be limited to extremely popular new offerings, and be temporary on those models.
I believe that Cold Steel, with it s earlier free market pricing, and with its quality of knives, both materials and fit and finish, has been poised to compete toe to toe with the highest selling quality knife manufacturers on the market in terms of sales. Regardless of what a few of the retailers say, popular demand will win out.
I m pulling for you.
 
Went to buy ad-15 as planned.

See price has jumped by $50

Walk away slowly from ad-15.

I'm sure the stores love the policy, but it's not good for the final purchaser.

Even if map had to be done to protect the retailers, it could have at least started somewhere near the the existing market price. Say 40,%
