• Happy Thanksgiving to all of you! I hope that you all have something to be grateful for this year and for many years to come
  • America has reached 250 years, and I am grateful to be here, in the best country in the world. Thank every one of you who helps make this country a better place, those who have gone before and risked it all, and those who've paid the ultimate price to make the United States what we are today.

Happy Birthday America! Let Freedom Ring for all time!

Decided to make a few folders out of D2 rather than stainless as it is close to non staining. Hand sanding this stuff is difficult and the edge holds what seems like forever. I can HT in my Evenheat easily. You don't see it much though. Any reason for this?

I use it all the time. Its one of my favorite steels because it fills the gap between stainless and carbon steel. I also love it because I can plate-quench it.

Higgie,
D2 is grat steel just not the buzz word.
It is tough and holds a great edge.
It gets freaky sharp.
