is heat treating ats 34 and 154 cm different

i may have mixed up some stock of the two (a mistake i will not repeat) and i am wondering if i send in Ats 34 and get it heat treated as 154 cm (or vice versa)if it will ruin the blade.

Paul will know for sure, but these are very close to being the same steel so it should not matter at all. I wouldn't lose any sleep over it.

...I always stamp the steel type on the tang so that the heat treater has no question as to what type it is and can seperate it as needed.
