Is honing your knives something you really enjoy?

Except for the occasional favor for a friend/family member and the odd customize/refurb job on a client's existing knife, and I only sharpen the knives I make. I think I would go bonkers if I had to sharpen a bench full of kitchen knives or something every day :D

I thought you were bonkers previously? Perhaps if you sharpened more it would right your condition;)
 
Yes I enjoy sharpening my knives or it might be that I enjoy the challenge of getting the next edge a little better than the previous edge. I also enjoy sharpening for others that might not have the right equipment.

I think this is probably an accurate statement for most contributors on this sub forum.
