Is is stupid for me to hold out?

ahhh Thanks. That's easy enough. I'm sure I let it lapse a while ago then didn't think about it. Will re-up.

Let me tell it to you straight....

Once you find "The ONE" you will move on to "The ONEpointTWO" ;)

I say buy it. Most people regret things that they did not do rather than the other way around. I in fact regret not buying the SOB in satin while I had the chance!

Hey Timmy, Does that work? I just went over to the "Wanted to Buy: Knives" area and there are no threads at all. Do people actually go there? I've been regretting not pulling the trigger on a combat grade AMS in canvas. Figured since it was pretty recent I would see some on the exchange but no luck.

They aren't on the Exchange yet because nobody has them in hand.
And, as explained, the Wanted ads can only be viewed by people whose membership level allows them to sell. It's actually a pretty active place.

interesting. thanks. was seeing the ASHBM around and figured I just missed the AMS. will take down the wanted request and and just be patient. hopefully my BS shows up and tamps down the Infidiction for a while.

I'm pretty sure lots of people have the CG AMS in hand. It's the BG AMS that people are still waiting for.

Dear Everybody,

There have been a plethora of amazing offers for BUSSE KNIVES in the last month.

But I keep waiting for THE ONE.

I feel like it would be better to go home empty handed than pull the trigger on the wrong blade.

What say? Better to habe something or nothing?

Shane

I say wait. You will know the one when you see it. For me it was the TGM. I had been wanting a TGLB for years but always was put off by the price and the size. I prefer 5/6 inch blades for general outdoors carry. I feel like anything over 6 inches starts to become too cumbersome. I almost ordered a battle grade TGLB. I waited and hemmed and hawed and when I finally went to order, they were gone.

Then the TGM dropped and I knew it was the one. Ordered 2

Thanks to everyone who replied.

I think I will be patient for a while longer, even though the pressure to buy will probably wear at me.

I believe there is a "one last knife" , out there somewhere.

Merry Christmas!

Shane

P.S. I wish for an HG55 the size of a BATTLE MISTRESS! ?

Going by your join date, you've been waiting at least 12 1/2 years. It's time. (:

Wow 15 years and still waiting, at this point I would give up and just buy an axe, they all pretty much look the same

I've been standing on that same ledge. There have been a couple recent offerings that I reaaaaally wanted to pull the trigger on but in the back of my mind something keeps telling me that if I do, "the one" will be offered next and I won't be able to afford it.

When you see it, buy it. Easy game.

I was able to pass on all the new offerings until the Ratweiler. I'd been coveting that blade for quite some time. When it came up, I got it. While I was really drawn to the ASH and some of the others, they were nothing like the Ratweiler for me.

When you see it, buy it.

I was on here for several years before I had much interest in this forum. It is the rare breed that jumps into Busse as their first knife.

there is a amsmo on the exchange.

If you know exactly what you want, the want to buy area is your friend. Tell everyone there what you want, and you shouldn't have to wait long. Otherwise I don't think you would have too much trouble getting money back on an unused blade.

Pretty much what he said. Best to hit quick on these short offers. You can easily turn it around for an unused blade. Especially if you are just trying to get your money back plus shipping. It will go, quickly I can assure you. I have not had the heard to part with any of them yet. You never know. Great thing about these knives is the fact that there has been a strong market for them. If you are willing to wait and catch them on the site you can get them a bit cheaper than everywhere else. On the other hand there is a huge market out there for them and you just about find what you want if you have the cash for it. I have been praying to the knife gods for a combat grade Gladius. """"mouth waters and eyes glaze over""". no clue the actual practical use for it, but that does not stop me from wanting one.

Thanks for the looks Boring. I'm kinda stuck on the basic combat grade with the full height flat grind and the 20th anniversary banner. On canvas to keep in line with the rest of my combat grades. It was up on the site for a while so I figured there would be a few floating around, but apparently they're hiding out somewhere.

Shane,

That is a forlorn hope. There will always be more something. Ultimately, though, you have to accept that you cannot find a hardware solution for a software problem, and stop chasing minimal returns.

I could always send you my SR Waki, and you could see how it fits you.

John

No worries John,but thanks.

I sort of let this thread fizzle when I realized it was a pathetic attempt to fit in. Like most of what I write, unwelcome, uninvited. Like the guy who always talks too much, laughs too loud, shows his lack of inner calm by splashing in the still pond.

Truly, I can no longer weild a sword or knife any more than I can swing the hammers lying dusty in the shop.

It was just hollow talk, wasted air. A way to show myself that I was once here.
