I can't get enough of this Tenacious. Perfect size, shape and design. The perfect knife. The cheap materials don't even bother me (prolly because they don't seem so cheap).
Is good one.

Oh trust me, it's not just you. :) I love the Tenacious. The design is not what you'd find in a knife of it's price line, it's way beyond that. That would be an excellent knife at $60-70.

Yep, good, sturdy and cheap folder.

(I'm sad there isn't any S30V blade version...)

Tenacious hanging in good company with the Paramilitary.

I read somewhere that they're planning on making a slightly smaller version called the persistence. I hope it focuses on having a slimmer blade and handle rather than just shorter. The only complaint I had with the tenacious I handled during the passaround was that it was a little to be comfortable in my pocket. Plus the broader blades seem larger, so it gives people the impression it's larger than it is.

I really like the Tenacious and carry it more than a lot of more expensive knives. I have been using it quite a bit

The blade dulls a bit quicker than other knives I have, but it sharpens quickly and is very easy to get sharp. The size is perfect. The only little complaint I have is that if I grip it strongly one of my fingers tends to brush against the lock and slightly disengage., just have to hold it a bit differently.

If this comes with premium materials it'll be the best thing that's ever happened.

I carried a Tenacious for a week in a passaround and it struck me as a high quality knife. I am not a big fan of liner locks, but I am a fan of the steel. I have an early meadowlark that was rockwell tested at 60 RC, and I have found the byrd steel (and Tenacious steel by extension) to be able to take very sharp edges easily. Most people complain about the steel but IMO it is excellent for taking thin edges and sharpening very easily.

You aren't alone. Lots of folks here love that knife, myself included. I wouldn't want it any smaller or any thinner as Spydies already come in nice slicing models. It was nice to see another Spyderco that was heavy enough (and affordable enough!) to be carried as a work knife.

It's a good knife. I got one off eGhey for something like $25. For the money, it is probably about the best you can get.

I love mine, and I love that it has such a large blade for it's handle size - one of the largest blade-handle ratios I have seen (aside from the Benchmades that have that funky extension thing, of course).
