How come a small hatchet doesn't fit in a backpack?
Ok So I Own A Ozark Trail hatchet and its very small and the edged portions less then 4 inches and i reside in the state of Connecticut and i was wondering if its legal to carry it around openly while its in its sheath ive contacted the local PD but they say that theres not enough information to give me an exact answer i was wondering if anyone has had any experience with carrying a hatchet in ct.
thx~~~
After looking at that clip for no more than 5 min., I sure am glad I have not watched TV in 20 years.
I've lost count of the comments from others after I have purchased an axe. Usually it's a joke or comment about what I'm going to use it for. My standard response now isn't to answer directly, I only say that there are better tools for that job. They usually stop talking to me, works like a charm. This thread reminds me of an experience I had. I found my Kelly Works cruiser at an antique shop in Beacon, NY. You should have seen the looks and heard the comments I got as I walked down the street back to my car. Turns out there is no way you can carry an axe in town that is NOT intimidating. I had a good chuckle...

Should be on the internet somewhere...I have a neighbor that only gets a tv when he's recovering from an injury and sells it when he's recovered. As its 5 or so years between injuries he gets a fresh prospective on programming. He said each time he gets rid of one he is amazed by how much time he would waste watching it vs working outside. He also said the shows just get worse and worse. From what I've seen, PBS programming is the only non-cable station that doesn't mostly have people arguing on talk shows or profanity laced comedy shows. O Old Axeman , do you know where I could find a copy of "Alone in the Wilderness"?

Especially when you've had to go for an hour but are busy and have to wait till your next scheduled break .Taking a dump rules.
