Is it me or do these look alike?

They look alike... interesting, Buck has gotten into the tatical seen, but I still prefer their classic knives. For tatical stuff I ususally go with a Benchmade or Spyderco.

They are pointy.... have edges... are black... have finger grooves... they fold.
Thats about it.

the handles look like they were cast from the same mold, differnt scales but one is definatly a rip off of the other.

I really dont see it, the handles are only slightly simular, but if you look at it for awhile you can see that the curves are different.

There's a family resemblance, but this doesn't surprise me.

For example, most car companies 'wind tunnel' their products. Taken to the logical conclusion, the outline would start to look similar as the 'magic profile' is approached.

In it's most simple definition, a knife has a handle on one end and the 'pointy part' on the other. If a truly ergo handle is sought, and the cutting geometry of that knife meets the same criteria, I think the knives would look like twins.
