HUGE fan of Watco Danish Oil myself. I also use it on micarta. I love the stuff.

Some day, when I become a grandpa....it's going to be My cologne.....haha.

It just smells, warm, ole timey and homey to me.

I rub a couple bouts of Watco Danish Oil on almost all my handles. (Micarta, too)

I wipe on a coat with a rag, let it dry overnight or so...then rub it on my hands it kinda buffs it.. Sometimes on my jeans. I do this a few times.
Maybe rub a coat on once a year.
I started using it for making furniture, but then used it on guns and now knives..... My dad showed me it when I was a kid. Been using it for around 40 years. It's super simple.

Awesome. thanks for the reply. I spent or misspent a good portion of my youth redoing old wooden boats. Teak oil was the preferred treatment at that time., not the best just what we used.

I'm no boat guy, but I think TEAK is one of the best oils for that. Grew up in a hardware store in a city next to a lake. We sold a lot of TEAK oil to boat owners.
