Is it my impression or are most Chris Reeve folders sold out everywhere?

I've been waiting on a new Umnumzaan since Christmas and now it looks like I might get S35VN so I'm excited to give that steel a try, even at CR's heat treat . . .

so basically my earlier prediction comes true...

the stamp that everyone hates so much gets changed and becomes a rare item, fetching a higher price.

Everyone is a pretty strong statement. I don't hate it

My thought exactly. Should it get changed, it might eventually become a collector`s item. I would love the irony in that. :D

Ya know I "HATED" it  before I broke down and bought one. I'd still like to see in moved perhaps, I don't even notice it.

Under the clip would be nice to me or inside the slabs, but I'm loving my new S35VN large Sebenza.

Reeek, others have agreed with me that the blade color is brighter and well.......the rest of it's properties have already been discussed to death.

You're going to dig the S35VN blade for sure!

maybe i'm crazy, but maybe chris reeve is busy repositioning the "idaho made" stamp because of all the negative feedback. which is slowing down the amount of knives being produced. I agree though, nowhere has a small plain sebenza 21 in stock.
I've only just recently been seriously looking at getting a crk knife so maybe its slow like this somewhat regularly...

If your looking for a small I may have one that needs a new home.

I actually noticed that they are few and far between at the moment. I actually had to overpay $20 for one. I've had several inlaid Sebenza's, both large and small, but I had just recently decided to pull the trigger on a large plain sebenza with the new S35VN steel. I didn't think I would have any trouble finding one, but after I checked all the usual supects and everywhere was sold out, I headed to the bay and paid $395 plus $11 shipping. I figured, oh well, what's $20 when I'm already spending nearly $400 on a knife anyways, ya know. Anyways, I got it a few days ago and I absolutely LOVE it. I should have got a large regular much much sooner, but I'm glad I didn't, cause I am absolutely loving this new steel. By far the sharpest Sebenza I've ever got out of the box! I'm loving it!

I ordered a large S35VN last Wednesday for the normal price but paid an extra $5 for Priority shipping over the normal "ship free" method.
My 1st CRK and loved it right out of the box, it really does live up to the hype. It won't be my last.
